Getting started
What is Groweg?
Groweg is building a verified farm-production platform. Customers can review approved fish-farming cycles, understand the operating plan and register their interest through a documented process. Farm owners can apply for verification and operational partnership.
Does registering create a confirmed farm booking?
No. Registration records your interest and allows the Groweg team to complete suitability, verification and product disclosures. A booking becomes confirmed only after an eligible farm cycle, an accepted agreement, a verified payment and a recorded allocation.
Farms
How does Groweg verify a farm?
The process may include identity and ownership or lease checks, farm documents, water-source review, pond and infrastructure details, field inspection, production-plan review and approval of the farm cycle. Every listing states its current verification level and verification date.
Are harvest quantities guaranteed?
No. Farming outcomes depend on biological, environmental and operational conditions. Published quantities and dates are estimates until the relevant activity or harvest is completed and verified.
Why can unit prices differ between farms?
A farm cycle can have different costs for seed, feed, pond preparation, labour, water, power, farm management, health support, harvest and contingency. Groweg will provide the approved cost basis before an eligible customer makes a payment.
Payments
Is a payment screenshot treated as payment confirmation?
No. Payment is confirmed only after Groweg receives a verified payment-provider event or completes authorised bank reconciliation. This protects customers and prevents incorrect or duplicate allocations.
When is a certificate issued?
An eligible allocation certificate is issued after the required payment and unit allocation have been verified. The certificate includes a unique number and QR verification status. It must accurately describe the customer’s contractual entitlement and does not automatically represent land or company ownership.
Harvest
What happens at harvest?
Groweg records the verified harvest, grades, losses and usable quantity. Eligible customers are then processed according to the approved fulfilment policy, which may include fish delivery or another legally approved harvest-linked settlement option.
What happens if the farm cycle is delayed?
Groweg should update the cycle status, explain the cause, publish the revised milestone and provide a support path. A delay must not be hidden behind a normal progress message.
Farm partners
Who can apply as a farm partner?
Individuals, organisations, cooperatives or approved operators with suitable pond resources, reliable access, required documents and willingness to follow Groweg’s production, evidence and verification processes may apply.
Does submitting a farm application guarantee approval?
No. Groweg reviews eligibility, documents, location, water source, infrastructure, operational feasibility and inspection results before approving a farm or production cycle.
